What is green sand casting used for?

Green sand casting, also known as sand casting grey iron casting, or clay-sand casting, is a process where a mold is created using a mixture of sand, clay, and water. This method is commonly used for large and complex metal parts, such as engine blocks and gears. What is investment casting used for?

Investment casting is generally known as lost-wax casting, but it does not have the same meaning as Yide Casting. Yide investment casting is also made by mold that is created using a mixture of sand, clay, and water. But different from green sand casting, our investment casting is made of fine sand and a specific production machine to make it, so that we can ensure the surface finish is smooth. But please noted: Yide Casting will produce the casting parts based on your drawing file when our factory has time to do it in the other production. It may take some time to produce your casting sample, so you must check your design artwork and ensure the parameter requirements with us. This is beneficial to both of us. The second casting sample also needs time to produce. And also you will be responsible for the freight costs of samples.
